Hatırat, Türk kumandanı Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün 10 Eylül 1921’deki emirıyla yaptırılmıştır ve Türk Kurtuluş Savaşı’nda hayatını kaybeden askerlerin andaçsına mefultır.
Bu kalıntılar, geçmişte kalede yaşayan insanların ömür alanları ve ibadet yerlerine üstüne ipuçları sunmaktadır. Kaleyi çevreleyen surlar ise maatteessüf yıkılmış durumdadır.
Antalya’da gezilecek yerler ortada dinamik ve mülevven konstrüksiyonsıyla Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Caddesi bile bulunuyor. İstanbul’daki İstiklal Caddesi ile de benzetilen Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Caddesi Dönerciler Çarşısı ile Karaalioğlu Otoparkı ortada.
Tam bir dinlence yeri atmosferi sunan limanın su manzaralı restoranlarında rakı-balık hazzı sahip olmak ise gezginler hesabına epey pop bir aktivite.
Kentte bir de Yengi Müzesi bulunuyor. Müze 1900’lerin başında strüktürlmış bir binada bakım vermektedir. Bu yapı, Başlangıçkomutanlık Alan Muharebesi’nde taarruz emrinin verildiği nokta olmasından dolayı Cumhuriyet altını tarihimiz açısından örutubet taşımaktadır.

It was a wonderful gateway and I don't regret traveling 3 hours from Antalya just to spend 2 days here! The food was delicious with enormous portions, the staff doing their absolute best, the entire resort is just sparkling clean! From now on it's definitely one of my favourite places in Turkey.
